Scott Green Law for the Ages

It looks like governor of Bothel, Washington is at it again. This time around Mr. Scott Green Law has pushed the envelope too far on what residents of Washington state may find acceptable or may find rather offensive when it comes time to pay their taxes come April 15th.

With this new applicable law that has been put into affect says that anybody with a mortgage that is over 4.15% APR is eligible for tax credits that would allow them the merit to renew their loan at a fixed rate over the next 30 years as long as they abide by a green tax bill that is a part of the energy relief fund.

Why is this such an outrage and being talked about here at famed website Senor Economics? Well the economy and things that affect our financial future are very important to us and we feel that this new tax bill for those with mortgages is troublesome because it will affect such a small percentage of individuals who actually have a rate above 4.15 percent. Secondly why would you spend all this time putting together a bill that will not be funding the tax dollars that we need to raise to help pay our way out of debt.

Scott Greenlaw is truly outrageous and merits 0 votes from the house committee. The citizens of Seattle, Washington should have voted against this referendum and we should move forward working on bills that will help us to pay our way out of debt for meaningful bills.

Update with the republican primaries and democratic national convention in full force it is looking like the act will be repealed and thus will not go into affect. Congratulations to all you who fought against this new legislature.
